About Me

When I was about 13, I quickly realized my childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian was not going to work out when I almost threw up during a science class dissection. The next logical career choice I had was to somehow get involved in the entertainment industry. 

I was born in Nashville, Tennessee, but I mostly grew up in St. Louis. I graduated from Lindenwood University with a degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in broadcasting. After graduation, I took a job at a local news station in Columbia, Missouri as a breaking news reporter. While I didn't mind the 2 a.m. wake up call, I realized that news wasn't really for me. I decided to give radio a try and I absolutely loved it! I started out doing nights on a Top 40 station and somehow wormed my way into mornings on our local country station. I've been at Clear 99 since 2020 and it feels like home. 

Speaking of 2020, while the world was shut down I got married to my husband Will. And in 2022 we welcomed our daughter Evelyn to the world. We are still very much navigating being parents, but when we aren't cleaning up spit up or changing diapers, you can find us watching lots of reality T.V., fishing or working out. 

Besides my husband and daughter, there are three major loves in my life: mermaids, corgis and Rascal Flatts. I have always wanted to become a mermaid and I don’t think I will ever give up on the dream of sprouting a tail. One of the best moments of my life was graduating from a mermaid academy in Florida. Aside from being the cutest dogs on the planet, corgis are also the sassiest. I have two stumpy-legged children, Nellie and Dasher, and they are the lights of my life. I am forewarning you, if you ask me about them you might be stuck for hours listening to me brag about my fur-babies. Finally, I am one major Flatt Head! There’s just something about Gary, Joe Don and Jay that is truly special to me. At the top of my bucket list is meeting the band…a girl can only dream! 

You will probably never see me without a smile on my face and I always try and approach the world with a 'glass half full' mentality. This place is full of opportunities and I'm only getting started discovering all of mine!
